Diving & Snorkelling, There are seven or eight prime shore - diving sites within a 30-minute drive form Amed, including the wreck of the Liberty at Tulamben, and good snorkelling almost everywhere along the coast. There are wall dives, wreck dives and coral garden dive courses are also on offer. The price for a two dive trio including all gear starts a around US$45.

The rice terrace arounf Tirta Gangga are some of the most beautiful in Bali, sweeping out from Tirta Gangga like a sea surrounding an island. A few kilometres beyond, on the road to the east coast, there are even moredramatically beautifull terraces.

To the northeast of Tirtagangga, this temple is the pretext for a pleasant hike on Mt Seraya. First, drive or take a bemo to Ngis follow the main road from Tirtagangga towards the north, then turn right after 2km. A steep road winds up first to Pura Luhur.
