Join the exiting cooking classes in the paon (traditional kitchen Balinese), try the jogging track around the vast garden, the plunge into the spacious and spotless pool. Private Butler service is offered for parents who want a night out.
The owner, Heinz, who also owns the great Bambu Bali Restaurant, likes to spread his concern for environmental issues among his staff, well-trained in proper waste management. Wastewater is recycled and reused to tend the spacious garden. But his main dedication is towards saving the turtles – hence you may spot a few of them swimming in the garden ponds. Inquire at the front desk about helping the turtle programmed.
On the inland side of the road, Taman Sari provides peaceful accommodations in a friendly ambiance. The thatch – roofed bungalows are set in a spacious garden, with a wooden bridge over the curved pool. The bright-coloured marble rooms are decorated with smart wooden furniture and Balinese carving. It is only a ten – minute walk to the beach for a morning stroll or snorkeling – after which you may want a massage at the spa, fully equipped with a Jacuzzi and sauna.
